From Your Hands to Our Hands…
Busy Hands of Michiana is an award winning, all volunteer, non-profit charity.
Grants, donations and donated materials are used to create special, therapeutic and comforting items for those in need and are distributed through various agencies.
Busy hands volunteers recycle donated materials to create a large variety of items for those in the community who struggle with Alzheimer’s and Autism, as well as Cancer patients, Nursing Homes, Hospice Patients, Homeless, Children and Infants and those with other life challenging situations.
We, at Busy Hands, give these recycled items to more than 120 recipient agencies and therapists in Michiana including Hospices, Hospitals, Cancer care centers, Schools, and Special Needs Programs. They then distribute them to those in need. No fee is ever charged. We work with various agencies that help individuals and are not open directly to individuals.
