Volunteer

We need sewers, knitters, and crocheters as well as volunteers willing to cut material with scissors or rotary cutting tools, assemble items,  or fill in as needed.

Come in and work with other volunteers Monday through Wednesday between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.

Volunteers

We have 65 active volunteers.  

Volunteers work both from home and/or come in and occupy the 12 sewing stations.  Most are talented and dedicated retirees who do not want to sit at home but rather prefer to use their skills to benefit the community.  We are located on the lower level of River Park United Methodist Church.  A chair lift is available for anyone with difficulties using stairs.

Busy Hands supplies materials for volunteers who wish to work at home.
